Summary
After the defeat and indoctrination of both Narinder and the former bishops of the Old Faith into the cult, Lambert has been trying to get the cat to mingle more with the cult members. But Narinder refuses it, preferring to stay locked away from everyone. That is at least, until the night of the Bonfire Ritual where The Lamb was able to make the former god leave his isolation with the promise of good wine. The events of the night take an unexpected turn, tho. And after everything, The One Who Waits is left to deal with the secret of what transpired during that ritual.

Sonic knew he was a giant idiot, that much he could admit. Running into a super powerful, ultra rare crystal like the Paradox Prism wasn’t the best idea he’s ever had. But give the poor hedgehog credit, he didn’t think it would send him AND Shadow into alternate realities. Let alone realities with different versions of themselves in them!
And all of them were…romantically involved with each other?! Sonic has always known he liked Shadow in some capacity, but seeing it in every new reality they visit just puts the final nail in the coffin.

“Darn it, Shadow...you’re being reckless...” Rouge mutters to herself.That’s when she feels it.
A cold, horrible dread. It creeps over her, starting from her heart and crawling upward. It makes the fur on the back of her neck stand up, and her wings twitch, and her body shiver.
She gets feelings like this from time to time, but she’s never felt it this strongly. As she watches the green bolts spew out of the place where her dearest friend stands, it feels as icy cold as the Metal Virus itself.
Rouge knows that Shadow’s immune system can destroy anything. She’s seen the research. He can’t be infected by or transmit any pathogen known to man or Mobian. She knows that.
And yet...
Something terrible is going to happen, the feeling tells her. Shadow is going to die.
That is literally impossible. The feeling must be wrong. She should probably just ignore it...
But for whatever reason, she doesn’t.
She has to change their fate.

Sonic is a well beloved omega dancer. known for his joking demeanor and bell enhanced costume, he has plenty of people fawning over him but he really only has eyes for one certain grumpy black hedgehog he can't stop teasing. Tonight just happens to be the perfect night to see him again as he tries his best to put on a show despite the growing flames inside of him.
