Summary
Hawkins was never picture perfect, but at least when their parents were kids, there weren't several strings of unexplained deaths. Something or someone has made Hawkins their hunting ground in the last few months, causing tension and fear to rise. While things seems to be spiraling in the worst of ways, life doesn't stop moving for Hawkins but maybe it unveils things they could have never expected of themselves or wanted to know.
Time seems to be compounding faster and faster, and for Chrissy Cunningham all the expectations and fears have made her blind to threats close to her and far away. Instead, she tries to grasp onto the good in her life, finding it in unexpected places, though they come always with unexpected consequences.

Chrissy Cunningham knows Eddie is innocent: at the time of the murder, they were together, no demons in sight—he was rolling her a joint, and she couldn’t hear the chimes over his humming. So she helps him hide from the vigilante mob, and in the process, learns to stop worrying about living up to her “Town Sweetheart” reputation.
