Robin heads into the coffee shop first, Steve’s staring at the floor until he runs into Robin, who’s stopped right in front of him.
“Watch it, Robs,” Steve spits, grabbing her arm to stop her from falling, and looks up to see what she’s staring at.
HIs eyes lock on Max, and then his gaze trails over to the gorgeous man next to her. His hair is up in a messy bun and he is absolutely ripping into a man in his late fifties who looks absolutely terrified of him. The man is literally trembling before this Greek god of a man and honestly, Steve can’t blame him.
Steve’s eyes shift back to Max’s and she’s wearing a knowing smirk on her face. Max set this up. She knew his type and just knew that he would make a fool of himself if it meant that the man next to her would give him an ounce of attention.
“Um, Stevie. You’re staring,” Robin says, sarcastically pointing out the obvious.
“There was a jewelry shop around the corner, right?” Steve replies, practically drooling at the sight of the ungodly amount of rings on the man’s hands.
No ring on his ring finger though.
“Uh, yeah? Why?”
“I am in love with this man and I need to get a ring to propose to him.”
