Living in New york City is not a task for the faint of heart. In any other place, any other city, shadows flicking across the sky by day and streetlamps at night might be birds, trash or the odd wayward drone. No need to look up, right.
Here, why wouldn't you? Masked or unmasked, the men and women that take to the skies upon your head push the limits of the human condition and boarder on the science-fictional, to keep this city standing. This planet spinning. To keep us safe.
NYC has had many nicknames over its nearly 200 year history: the Big Apple, the City That Never Sleeps, the Beating Heart of America.
But you and I, dear reader, have the honor to a share a particular name with some of the best mankind has to offer, with heroes. We call it: home.
