Summary
Jayce Talis has a problem. Two of them, in fact.
Problem #1: Jayce is paired with Ekko for Heimerdinger’s capstone engineering course. But Ekko isn’t the problem here: It’s Heimerdinger’s response to their new project, which results in him confiscating Jayce’s life’s work on Hextech and taking it who knows where.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s reclusive roommate at Zeta Omega Nu who just so happened to be Heimerdinger’s assistant until a recent falling out left them at odds. With Viktor’s help, Jayce is sure he can get back his research and achieve his Hextech dream.
Problem #2: Jayce needs to get fucked. Badly.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s best friend who happens to be Jayce’s every fantasy brought to life. But what business does a good boy like Jayce Talis have chasing after punk boys with tattoos and bad attitudes on the verge of expulsion?
If Jayce could just find a way to talk to him, Viktor could be the solution to all of Jayce’s problems. Except…Jayce has already been texting Viktor, pretending to be someone else. Because as far as he knows, Viktor's only interested in girls.
So, make that three problems. Maybe even four.

Summary
Piltover has fallen. Jayce Talis finds himself and the High Council captured by a triumphant Ambessa Medarda -- allied with Silco, she brings the City of Progress to its knees. Last he saw of Viktor, he was trapped in the lab that was set on fire; Mel's whereabouts are unknown. Though Jayce expects to die, Ambessa's lieutenant, Rictus, has other plans as he takes Jayce as his portion of the spoils of war. Jayce's life becomes a living nightmare as he is forced to pleasure his captors, each rape more horrific than the last.
Jayce must face a crisis of identity and despair: Will the dream of the future die with him or can he resist against impossible odds to take back the world that was lost? Can he protect Viktor, Mel, and an entire city when he can't even save himself? The Man of Progress is tested through fire and Meljayvik takes the future into their hands as the world burns down.
This is Jayce's ravine moment. The Golden Boy becomes the Defender of Tomorrow.

Alone in the stall with the calf, Viktor couldn’t help but stare. He’d seen plenty of newborns living on a farm, but this one seemed… different. Viktor wiped its cheek dry with the corner of the blanket, and sucked in a breath when the calf opened its eyes. Brilliant gold stared back at him, full of curiosity.
“Hello there, little one,” Viktor cooed. The calf’s button nose twitched and it simply blinked. “You’re alright, we’ve got you.”

Summary
Sometimes, Viktor hates Jayce for it. Hates that he couldn’t let him die and instead fused him with an entity neither of them understood, one Jayce promised to destroy, a promise that should’ve been the last Viktor ever made him swear. And now he’s cursed with a body that constantly feels like a trap waiting to be sprung.
It’s a betrayal that he doesn’t think he can ever forgive Jayce for. It burns, hot and acidic deep within. He wants to scream at Jayce, shake him, make him understand just what he did. How it spits and hisses at him, an agony he can’t rid of.
But he understands. He thinks he hates that the most.

Summary
At a mere thirteen years old, Jayce Talis was the youngest victor the Capitol had seen yet. Through hiding and praying, stealing and apologizing and praying again, he won the 20th games through sheer luck and flawless Talis steel, bringing glory to District 2.
Four years later, during the 24th games, he finds himself thrust back into the luminous but dangerous world of the Capitol, mentoring a tribute alongside Academy students. When a scrawny boy from District 3 is named as his tribute, Jayce does not anticipate much, envisioning a bloody and horrific game that swallows the boy up for dinner.
What he does not expect is for the boy to have victory written in his name. What he does not expect is for the boy to bring something revolutionary to him, something that could change all of Piltover.
But whether for better or for worse, Jayce does not know. All he knows is that through starvation or seduction, blood or blazes, he will do whatever it takes to survive. Again.
