Summary
Follow Gaara and Rock Lee on an epic story to save the Village Hidden in the Sand.
Something stirs in the night, and it has Gaara on edge and unable to rest. Little does he know that Shukaku is stirring in his blood, waiting for the opportune moment to strike.
Rock Lee and his team from Konoha are called to aid Sunagakure after Shukaku breaks free from his bindings and takes control, wreaking havoc and destroying the city. It is up to the Leaf team and Kankuro to help bring Gaara back from the void or take Shukaku down by any means necessary.

He couldn't get him out of his head. Even more than a decade later, Rock Lee still thinks about that boy daily. Wonders who he became, how he looks, what his name is; obsessively. He needs to know anything and everything he can about this boy.

It's not easy making friends, and it's definitely not easy being friends with someone as touchy and personal as Lee. But that's all Lee was to her, right? Just a friend whom she cared deeply about and wanted to hug until the world faded away from them.

Summary
Gaara thought Lee’s Christmas decorations were overdoing it by daylight, but the whole display lit up at night is absolutely batshit insane. It belongs on one of those driving tours that bored soccer moms drag their screaming kids to. The whole thing must be on timers, because the lights flash in perfect synchrony with the beats of the music. An entire blowup Nativity, right down to the sheep, moves in slow motion with the hiss of hydraulics. A Frosty the Snowman flaps its inflatable stick arms with buffets of air, like one of those wiggly blow-up tube men that are only ever seen outside the most unsavory of used car dealerships.
Or, five times Gaara almost killed his new neighbor, and one time he almost kissed him.
