Wol is a knight of the Kingdom of Corneria. He and his Blastoise may be the kingdom's only hope as a crisis emerges that threatens not only his homeland but also the lives of his friends Garland and Sarah.
A retelling of the original NES Final Fantasy game's story but with Pokemon and a heavy dose of Gen 1. Wol stands in for the unnamed protagonists of both series, a man who prefers a pokeball and shield over a weapon of his own. This chapter retells the starting stages of FF1 which will be very familiar to anybody who has passing knowledge of the game. Still, here's hoping that you'll find surprises and intrigue despite the familiar tale. And some thrilling pokemon battles too!
