“Better?” He asked once he was all changed. Robert weakly nodded and leaned against the couch again. He whined. “What’s the matter?” Chase asked, taking a seat on Robert’s coffee table.
Robert just seemed to mutter and grumble, but his face was pained. His voice was croaky and breathy. Chase hummed in thought, leaning forward and brushing hair from Robert’s eyes. He still looked pale and weak.
“Maybe you are sick. You’re really pale.” He thought out loud, getting a disapproving groan from Robert. Chase’s hand moved from brushing hair from his eyes to be on the back of his forehead. “You don’t feel that warm.” He noticed how Robert seemed to be tilting his head in the direction of Chase’s hand.
Chase turned to the end of the couch and lay down a pillow that was there, before placing a hand on Robert’s shoulder. “Let’s get you layin’ down, kid.”

“This,” Robert began, pointing to a projected png of a Switch with his extendable pointer finger thing. “Is the humble Nintendo Switch. Gaming has never been more transportable.” He looked between the crew who seven of them looked bored, and the other one being Golem looked interested.
Invisigal raised her hand. “Question.”
Robert sighed. “Can it wait until after? You need to know this stuff for this meeting.” He fiddled with the pointer finger, trying to gesture that he would like to keep talking.
Invisigal’s hand slapped down onto herself. “Yeah. I actually don’t fucking care. I just wanted to know if there’s a way to skip this? Because I really… really don’t care.”
A smirk formed on Robert’s face. “Sure. You’d have to sit with Blazer and help her with paperwork though. A lot of it.” He watched her think about her decision, before shuffling to look more like she was listening to what he was saying. “Where was I?”

“You aren’t worried?” Blonde Blazer had asked, in one of Robert’s meetings with her. They were supposed to be talking about performance, but of course the team’s treatment came up first.
Robert simply shook his head. “They’re criminals,” he began, casting a resting bitch-face look at Blonde. “Of course they’ve got strong opinions on being bossed around. We’re the last people who wanted those fucks.”
Blonde Blazer took a moment, trying to understand his words fully, before gently nodding, turning back to the papers in her hand.
“Look,” she sighed. “I’m not saying that I don’t agree with you, but…” She smiled at Robert, placing a piece of paper on her desk and facing it towards Robert. She had hoped he would smile back, but got nothing. So she dropped it. “I’m just saying to be careful.”
Robert looked down at the paper. It was a transcript of a call taken while Robert went to the bathroom. He sharply looked at Blonde for a moment before snatching the paper and bringing it to his face.
