Summary
The crisis of Fontaine's prophecy had been averted, large in part due to the masterful plan of the hydro archon Focalors. But even in the wake of celebration and relief, one individual lingered on Neuvillette’s mind: Furina, the love of his life, who now had the mere lifespan of a human after centuries of suffering for her nation.
It was out of defiance that Neuvillette searched for a way to defy the laws of nature and even of the gods. No matter what, he needed to find a way to give Furina the long life she had so rightfully earned. Otherwise, could he truly call himself the arbiter of justice?
