Summary
Kenneth McCormick is just a regular boy most of the time. While he was delt a bad hand at life, he does what he can to take care of his sister Karen in their apartment together, going to work at a Panda Express and going to school at UNC.
However, he has a secret. At night he dawns the mask of Mysterion, an immortal superhero that watches the city of Greeley. It started as a way to comfort his sister, but quickly grew into something serious.
He found parts of it annoying, like Professor Chaos, who did nothing but bother him, but he found other parts genuinely concerning, like when a large explosion blows up the Greeley Mall, and due to evidence, it's likely linked to a much bigger scheme.
All of that, however, was on the backburner of his mind, when he met up with an old friend, Butters, or Leo.

"Shit, sorry,” the boy mutters, already crouching down to pick up his books. When he straightens back up and takes out his headphones, Will is able to get a better look at the person standing in front of him. He’s maybe 4 inches taller, with deep chocolate eyes and a freckle-covered face.
A voice snaps him out of his thoughts, “I’m Mike. Mike Wheeler.”
Will just stares at him in awe, trying to shake off the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. His palms feel weirdly sweaty.
“I’m Will,” he manages to get out, “Will Byers.”
“Cool…” Mike says, studying him for a second longer than seems necessary. “Well, see you around.”
“See you...” Will mutters as Mike walks away.
