Summary
A story about Frey and Bado falling in love and struggling to be together despite a fear of social backlash due to the difference in their years.
This is a long one, full of humor, sweetness, tension, talking, and various characters interacting. It builds slowly and ends happy with a little peril in between.
EDIT 11/6/2020: This was my first complete work of fiction. It will always be special to me and I love it very much but there are some things I'd like to change and update throughout, now that I'm looking back at it from a perspective 6 years older and wiser. I'll be going through in the coming months and editing chapters. I'll leave change notes in the 'author's notes' sections of each chapter I alter. Thank you.
P.S.: I'm also taking out most of the illustrations for the time being because I'm interested in replacing them with updated versions.

Twisting and turning so that he could get a view of his full figure, he couldn’t help but feel dismayed at just how similar he looked to how he did when he and the Divine Dragon had first met. She’d been able to save his life by blessing him with better health after he’d finally opened up to her about his illness, but she hadn’t been able to grant him muscles.
He supposed it didn’t really matter, not right now. No amount of muscles nor training could ever help him and Alear bear a healthy child if what killed them was in his very blood.

Summary
New York is rebuilt and the Mad Dogs are back to their normal life. A chance encounter with a familiar looking mutant quickly leads them down another path to an earth ending threat, but it isn't their world that needs saving this time.
A story that follows unraveling the mystery of a sister counterpart being displaced from her dimension as the Rise brothers and their family endeavor to lend their aid. In pledging to get her home, they also promise to help solve the crisis her New York is facing, leading to many encounters with both old and new faces. A new set of siblings, a new set of circumstances - one big family coming together to face their greatest threat yet.
Heavily focuses on themes of learning to love oneself, forgiveness, overcoming trauma, and strengthening familial bonds. Features many Rise-ified characters from various iterations, insert artwork for specifc moments (chapters 18, 24, 31, 39, and 50 currently), and is planned for four major arcs. Arc One spans chapters 1-18, Arc Two chapters 19-49, and Arc Three chapters 50-68. Arc Four is ongoing.
