This led to another one of the many questions surrounding Dazai, why was he so uncomfortable at the mention of his father? It wasn’t a shy uncomfortable, it was one Draco knew all too well, contempt. He had met many people who had hated their families and the roles that came with them, although he was not one of them, he had been around enough of them to realize when the mention of someone's father filled them with so much dread. But all these people were from rich and expecting families, so why did Dazai have the same reaction as people with a thousand responsibilities placed on their heads?

A/N: Ohh boy, I've been thinking about writing this for a while! Here are some notes:
Our MC isn't going to be outsmarting geniuses like Koji from the start. (Remember, he's in a high school full of literal geniuses. Our MC isn't a genius, at least not in the conventional sense. He's smart, but not a genius.)
Our MC is a very human character. He's not a saint who's always going to do the right thing or save everyone, but he's no monster either.
The initial chapters may be a little tough, but as the story progresses, you should get much more hooked.
This story's themes are heavily inspired by Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. (No content will crossover though) -
