Summary
Eddie moved his head the slightest bit, just enough for his eyes to peek around the curtain of his bangs to meet Steve’s own. They were glassy and white—blind like Max—and struck through with burst blood vessels, as if Vecna had latched on to his mind. Steve startles backwards but the fingers tangled in the denim held him there, iron and unwavering. He was suddenly no longer Eddie but a corpse, the corpse he’d left behind on the broken ground of the Upside Down, claw wounds from Vecna’s talons oozing black blood around his slack face.
Not a memory, this is wrong, Vecna never got to him, it’s a nightmare, wake up wake up wake up—
“It’s too late—” Eddie’s voice was unrecognizable and rasping, scraping through his rent trachea like the jagged teeth that had killed him, “—it wants you, Steve Harrington.” A shadow fell over them both; he only got the chance to form an impression of yawning wings stretched wide, of eagle talons reaching towards him, of wild blue eyes before it collided.
Six months later, and something hungry has crawled out of the gate into Hawkins.

Summary
Eddie Munson was dead...right?
So why was he waking up three days earlier as if nothing had ever happened, and what in the absolute hell was he supposed to do about it now? And why does he keep waking up, again and again in the same moment after the same inevitable result?
Basically, a time-travel/time loop fix it fic because I am obsessed with this trope, I love it, and I need more of it. Fair warning, I depict Eddie's death multiple times in this fic, they are all temporary, but my intent is to torture these characters almost as much as you might be by reading this.
