“You know, the sofa was your idea.” Viktor stepped into the light, a small, wry grin playing at his lips as he approached Jayce with the soft thunk of his cane. “I still think it takes up too much space. What’s the point if you’re not going to use it, hm?”

Viktor’s plan to get himself banned from those ridiculously pompous galas went as follows:
-Wear the most revealing, most scandalous outfit he could.
-Wear the most makeup he could apply to himself without messing up.
-Be as rude and sarcastic as he could possibly be to everyone.
This plan was sure to get him banned from galas forever, Viktor was convinced of it. And sure, maybe he also felt at least a tiny bit bad for making Jayce clean up his mess afterwards, but he had insisted Viktor go to this gala, so if anything, he was partly to blame for this. He should have known Viktor would only agree to go under his own conditions.
Or: How Viktor's foolproof plan to stop getting invited to fancy parties totally backfires on him and turns him into Piltover's most elegible bachelor. And how he ends up dragging Jayce into it.

Summary

Ekko took a steadying breath, closing his eyes for a moment to find the resolve to continue. Jinx felt herself holding her breath in anticipation for whatever warranted this kind of build-up.
“I came back for you, Jinx.”
‘Oh.’
Then Ekko continued, “The other timeline was like a dream. And you can’t live your life stuck in a dream. I wanted this. Something real. You.”
Ekko’s hands had taken hers again, though the touch was light, leaving her with the opportunity to wrench them away if she wanted. It took her a moment to process his words.

Taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind...
WELL while taking the leap forward with Arcane Season 2 Act III, the writers sure left some VERY IMPORTANT Timebomb scenes behind. This fic is going over the scenes we missed out on starting immediately after Season 2 Episode 9's cold open with Jinx and Ekko.
