Shigaraki just watched him. He looked into Midoriya’s wide eyes, and then he glanced at Overhaul’s dead body.
The silence stretched on for a bit. Deku began to fidget, and finally he broke the silence. “What?” he muttered, voice dull and void.
“Nothing. I just…,” he paused, thinking over his words, “I didn’t know you had it in you.”
The green haired boy clenched his fists. He looked to the ground. He was shaking slightly. The rage had left him, but now he felt empty. He didn’t know how the Pros would react to this. Definitely not well, he decided, no matter how reasonable he thought Overhaul’s punishment was.
He mulled over his response. Did the white haired villain even deserve a response?
“There’s a lot of things you don’t know about me,” he settled on.OR
Midoriya goes feral rage mode in his fight against Overhaul. The beat down still happens, but with Eri no longer at his back, he gets more violent. One For All reacts in an interesting way and Midoriya commits a terrible and unheroic act - the cold blooded murder and maiming of Chisaki Kai. Shigaraki is there to watch it all unfold.

Dabi was gaping, his mouth flopping open and close like an ugly fish. “What... Shiggy, you didn’t tell me about your virgin break through!”
Toga follows and chimes in to add fuel to the fire, “Shiggy! You’ve finally grown up! You finally did the deed!” Her eyes gleamed with excitement as she approached the green haired baby.
The baby has now turned to face the commotion and Toga takes this chance to sneak in a little peck on his freckled cheek. “He’s adorable! Why did you hide this from us? How old is he?” She squeals.
Shigaraki swats her face away from the baby and scowls at the both of them. “He isn’t mine. Are you guys blind? We look nothing alike.” "

Izuku was used to being an outcast. His whole life he'd been quirkless and useless and worthless and creepy and annoying and hated. He knows what it feels like to be cornered in the hall, followed to the bathroom, and attacked as soon as the bell rings. He knows how it feels when someone you once considered a friend starts calling you useless and worthless. He knows a demeaning nickname when he hears one, even if he's trying to reclaim his own. He knows what it's like to not have friends or to be asked to hang out as a joke. He knows, though it's not something he's keen on advertising.
Or: If you don't have the context, a lot of what Midoriya Izuku does looks shady as fuck. Unfortunately, nobody had the context.
