Summary
Lance graudated at the top of his class from The Garrison almost three years ago. He was selected to head out on the Kerberos mission with the rest of the crew not long after, going through the preparation and heading out. Now he, and the rest of the crew, have been missing for over two years. Declared dead, and now suddenly he's crashed back on Earth rambling about needing to find a weapon.
Or: Lance is older than Keith by two years and left with Shiro. Suddenly appearing two years later, unaware of how much time has passed and seems to ignore the connection they were growing in search of a weapon he needs to protect from the Galra.

Summary
Widespread crime and the rise of organized syndicates pushed the government into desperation. Their solution was brutal: wall off the worst cities and dump unsolvable cases inside them, treating entire places like disposable prisons. Andrew Minyard didn’t give a fuck—until he was sentenced to Palmetto, and in doing so, dragged Aaron and Nicky down with him.
In Palmetto, escape was simple in theory and impossible in practice. You needed money, power, or exy talent good enough to buy your way out. That was how Andrew became a goalie for the Foxes, a team held together by bad luck, worse reputations, and stubborn refusal to break.
Winning the All for the Game Championship was supposed to be his way out. Instead, it put him in the path of a Raven player tied to the mafia, a past that refused to stay buried, and a town built to grind people down. Survival was about choosing who, if anyone, was worth fighting for.

Lance’s cheeks tint into pink as he turns back around and finally meets the eyes of the handsome stranger in the armchair. When their gazes lock, Lance feels a shiver run down his spine, which has nothing to do with the cold air coming from the window. His knees tremble, weight of his body suddenly too heavy to bear, as he starts to go down. Before his ass kisses the ground, strong hands close around his arms to hold him steady.
“You okay?”, the man asks, voice a low timbre, rough around the edge from sleep.
And yes, Lance recongnises the fiery orbs–a mix of violet and red; the black, unruly mop of hair. Lance knows he’s doomed. **––
Lance moves back to his hometown to open a chocolate shop. On the night of the full moon he meets Keith in the form of a black panther.

It was easier to pretend he'd never been anyone at all.
"I'm nothing," he answered. The ghost of a smile pulled at his lips; sharp and cruel. "A wraith." The Wraith, he didn't say, but the shadows ran through Andrew's eyes and he wondered if Andrew had heard it anyways.

Resting on Galo’s back a little more than necessary when Galo gives him a ride on the back of his motorcycle after work.

When Lance is thrown through time, his future self from one year ahead is transported to the past in his place.
This Lance is faster, stronger, and markedly more mature. Not only that, but he's distinctly more intuitive about his teammates and A LOT more touchy with Keith.
The team must try and work out how to reverse the two Lance's places and restore them to their original timelines. Things only get more complicated when the Future Lance can't seem to remember where he was when the switch happened, and he refuses to reveal anything about his own time for fear of influencing the team's decisions.

Summary

He finds his team to be remarkably familiar, yet distinctly different. They have more scars, a better grip on the whole saving the universe thing, and over a year’s worth of teamwork to bind them together. But the weirdest part? Keith seems to be a lot more touchy with him. Not that he’s complaining… much.
The team must try and work out how to reverse the two Lance’s places and restore them to their original timelines. But despite the fact that they’re still his friends, Lance can’t help but feel a little out of place among a team that’s been through so much with a Lance that just isn’t him. And it doesn’t help that the team is on edge around him, refusing to tell him anything for fear of influencing and changing the past. Things get even more complicated when they have to rely on the team in the past to complete the switch, leaving Lance to little more than sit, wait, and attempt to fill in his future self’s shoes.
