For a second he expected Wilbur not to respond, but then his eyes widened like he realized what he’d been doing before it was back to a blank stare. “Your face is all fucked up.” He said simply.
“Wilbur.” Philza hissed, and Tommy could see from the corner of his eye as Techno rapidly brought the book back up to his face.

A battered navy T-shirt. The yellow graphics emblazoning the front now rendered indiscernible with time and wear. It was one of the few things he managed to grab when Edwin rescued him from La Sorcière.
“You wear that shirt a lot,” she observes, and Monty turns back towards her. He can’t discern any clear emotion in her expression or voice. Just dry observation.
