After his mother died in a house fire when he was 4, Dean has spent his entire life raising his little brother, Sam, and trying to find himself while taking care of everyone else. Throughout his life, he's had a series of encounters he can't explain - including an inexplicable near-death experience in a warehouse fire on November 19, 2020 that leaves him struggling more than ever.
Attorney Castiel Novak was adopted after being abandoned as a baby, and has always known he's different - and he's always had one mission: to save Dean Winchester. He just doesn't know why. But he knows one thing: he has a bond with Dean that can't be broken, and he'll do anything for Dean - even before they know each other. And, when they finally meet under the right circumstances, that bond becomes one where they can't stay away from each other, falling for each other in ways they don't understand.
But Heaven and Hell are still waiting for Dean and Cas - and for the fate that they were supposed to suffer, that has somehow been completely erased.

At home with his plants or in front of a room full of students, Castiel is comfortable. Being around strangers makes him feel disconnected. Most of the faculty think of him as standoffish, but he’s just social awkward.
A child’s love of plants brings these two men together. Can they come together as a family and make it work?

Dean Winchester has just one project to finish for his Doctorate in Engineering, and he's really stressed because it seems like his instructor Zachariah Adler is out to get him. After he has a meet-weird with an art student, he decides to blow off some tension in the time honored "Dean Winchester way", but his usual sites aren't doing it for him.
He finds a video title that gets his interest: "Choking and Collaring for Beginners". Hmm. A little intro to BDSM might be just the thing to get him out of his funky mood. Despite Sam's warnings about internet safety, he clicks on the link.
The video is NOT about BDSM. As Dean watches long sensual fingers caressing a blob of clay on a potter's wheel, he's intrigued, he's aroused, he's...in deep trouble.
