Summary
Stiles has a good life. He has a great job, a great husband, and he's happy in Virginia. The pack is doing fine under Scott's leadership back in California. Aside from the grisly murder scenes he sees on cases, Stiles' life is actually pretty perfect. Which is of course, when everything goes wrong.
Basically Stiles is part of the BAU team, and the Nogitsune returns. Mind games ensue. There are not nearly enough crossovers where Stiles is on the team, so idk here you go, brought to you by the voices in my head. Also in this fic Stiles and Derek didn't get together until Stiles was well into college, because I think canon-era Stiles/Derek is really creepy.

Summary

Summary
It was the little things that alerted Stiles to the situation at hand. He liked to think he was a keenly observant person. Being a sheriff’s kid with a neurodivergent brain and anxiety meant that he picked up on a LOT of things that others might dismiss. It was how he was so good with figuring out blackmail material on his peers and how he kept out of the majority of the trouble he stumbled in.
So when Peter’s breath hitched every time that he touched Stiles, well… it was obvious.

He then gives a two-finger salute, the sign he has trained with his pack, and before she can react, two shots are heard in the clearing. Blue blood starts spilling out of her mouth before she coughs and falls to her knees. Her eyes are wide and focused on Stiles.
Stiles sits on his haunches in front of her, so he's on eye level with her. "It's pretty stupid that people keep underestimating me. You should've known better-" Lydia screams in the distance, and Stiles knows it's time.
