Summary
After Dr. Eggman released the secret government experiment, Project Shadow, from his suspended animation, a being that wasn't quite a hedgehog, more monsterous, with wings and a third eye. Shadow wreaked havoc, destroying the facility that kept him, an hurting many people there. After calming down, Sonic the Hedgehog went to him, speaking gently despite the damage.
Shadow, having hurt Tails due to what had happened, flew off to isolate himself.
After a bit of healing, Sonic went to Shadow, to speak with him.
After a few conversations, and a bit of pain, Shadow informed Sonic about his inhibitors, the ones he destroyed long ago, and, as a way to potentially help him, Sonic offered to remake them.Series

The only problem? Nobody told Amy Rose about this new living arrangement. Still filled with grief over the recent loss of Gemerl’s predecessor, Emerl, and forced to confront her feelings, she will soon realize that Gemerl has things to mourn too. Perhaps, together, they can move past their regrets.
