Summary
All around was a clinical feeling, and the air crackled with electricity from the teleporter. It took William a moment to regain his senses, eyes moving around the very scientific-seeming room he found himself in. It took him so long to get there, taking him months to get to this point. He needed to find out who took his son, who had killed his best friend. The teleporter itself was easy, made in only a couple days because of his pack rat tendencies. He's thankful he's finally there, but it was strange—too clean, and somehow smelling of antiseptic or some type of cleaner. The air fizzled for a moment before settling around him, and he kept his hand near his trusty gun in its holster. He tensed at the sound of the clack of shoes on the floor and looked to see someone looking like an assistant with a clipboard standing before him. She looked startled, eyes darting around the room.

Summary
Dust-covered chairs and tables are strewn around a broken room. Cheap office building paneling rests on the ground, crushing a long-forgotten skeleton who tried to hide under a table. Objects from a small, abandoned-looking campsite are scattered around in a corner of the room. Quiet chatter from two men grows louder as they walk through broken hallways.

The moon shines brightly outside as it casts a glow to the palace courtyard. A chill is in the air while a young man, Sven, sits at his desk and idly reads a book. Heavy footfalls of guards moving around the palace can be heard through his closed chamber door.

Summary
“Do we even have to do this, Pyotr?” Mateo huffs, staring up at the ceiling. He woke up around an hour ago and he's still in his boxers. Volkov's jacket is hanging close by over their desk chair. Mateo is laying down on their bed over the blanket and he can see small glances of Pyotr’s head in his peripheral vision as the man moves around their apartment.

Summary
It seems to be around 3 a.m. as two men quietly walk close together down the dimly lit halls of the base. The air is warm, but there's still a chill to it. The base is quiet, except for the soft chatter between the two men.
“This isn't the way to sneak out, Mateo,” Pyotr mutters to Mateo at his side. Their shoulders brush against each other with every step.

Summary
The Hunter slowly makes his way through corridors, his eyes peering out through his dark helmet. He watches the shadows closely and steps over the corpses that fell moments before. His sword remains close at his side, with blood shining in the patches of moonlight in between windows. With his free hand, he uses a dirty cloth to idly wipe blood off his armor and sword as he walks.

Summary
The cold and starry night was only a few steps away outside the door. The candles burnt out a few hours ago, leaving the bunker dark. The area was quiet except for the soft and steady breathing of two men. Neither could sleep and William closely watched MacCready who stared right back. The two laid curled up close together as they tried to keep warm.

Summary
The small bunker, after the dead bodies were removed and the space was aired out, was actually a nice space to lay low. The candles definitely improved the atmosphere too. William and MacCready lay together on a small cot, with MacCready's head resting on William's chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. There's a comfortable silence surrounding them.

The quiet chatter of half-awake people was muffled to William's ears as he made his way through the bar. A woman stood on a nearby stage, crooning to whoever listened. Soon, the chatter completely stopped; everyone was focused only on her.

Summary
The light flickered through the thin cloth blinds, painting the sterile medical wing a strange hue. My eyes flicked between my fellow patients with my leg aching. I saw a man missing his arm down to the shoulder, writhing in pain as the nurses tried their best to sedate him.

Summary
His eyes flicked between the low-lit shadows of people and the quiet TV playing some soccer game. Cigarette smoke surrounded him in his corner as he idly breathed it in. He watched a man approach from his side and slowly walk up to him. His name was Bill something, maybe Lawrence.

You're getting better. You think. That's what you're told at least.
She still visits you in your dreams. Some days when it's really bad, you see her in the corners of your eyes and she laughs or frowns. Depends on the day.

Summary
The Hunter dashed and skidded around corners, chasing after the laughing man. For once, the Hunter had a small smile on his face that replaced his usual cold look. Micolash occasionally stole a glance behind before picking up speed and losing the Hunter around a corner.

Summary
William sat cross-legged on the ground, watching MacCready sort through his many pockets. Their bag of caps lay on a nearby table.
"Find 'em yet?" William twirled a ruined cap in his hand. MacCready moved a pile of bullets to make more room for the rest of his pockets' contents.
"Nah, not yet. Do they have to be scissors?" MacCready paused for a second, noticing some bullets that William uses and he tossed the small bag over. William caught the bag with one hand, the cap in his other.

Summary
The stench of bleach pervaded the air as the small flickering of light from an old lighter loosely lit the area. Two men stood close together in the snow. One of them, Elias, clumsily lit a lighter, angling it for the other to light his cigarette. Andrew, the other man, held onto Elias’ hand even after his cigarette was lit. The shorter man lightly placed a hand on Elias’ back and gently turned the two of them away from their fresh kill.

Summary
Man Enough played quietly on William's overturned Pip-Boy as he tried to lockpick a safe. At the sound of the bobby pin breaking for the fifth time, he let out a huff and threw the now useless lockpick on the ground. William brought his fingers through his hair as he continued balancing in his crouched position. He harshly rubbed his eyes, not noticing a sudden weight to his back.

Summary
A man sat on the cold wood floor. His combat boots were off his feet for once and he leaned against the splintering wall. He counted the nearby footsteps outside, confident that MacCready was now at the door for the second time. William held his breath, exhaling just as MacCready continued walking the perimeter. William attempted to get comfortable as he laid his head further back on the scratchy wall.
