    Begins with a new take of the end of the Thunderbolts movie, proceeds vastly differently from there. The New Avengers are the textbook case of the underdogs, and who better to elevate this team of misfits than the King of the Underdogs: The Amazing Spider-Man. Plus, the New Avengers desperately need a tech guy and more diversity in abilities.

    Alright people! Let’s do this one more time. My name is Miles Morales. I was bitten by an irradiated spider, and for 12 years, I’ve been the one and only, Spider-Man. I’m pretty sure you know the rest.

    I saved a bunch of people, fell in love, saved the city, and then I saved the city again, and again and again, and again. I couldn't save my best friend, Phin Mason, or the person she became. So now I save everyone else, which means that I have to stop Roxxon every other week from cooking up whatever scheme they are, but that’s beside the point.

    Look, I'm a comic book, I'm a cereal, did a Christmas album. And a... a so-so popsicle. I mean, I've looked worse. But after everything, I still love being Spider-Man. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between this city and oblivion is me. There's only one Spider-Man, and you're looking at him.

    Almost two years after the events of No Way Home, Peter Parker is now beginning his sophomore year at Empire State University while juggling an internship with his favorite professor, his volunteer work at F.E.A.S.T., a freelance web design and photography job at TheDailyBugle.net, hangouts with his new friend group, and (of course) all of this on top of continuing his most important job as New York's one and only Spider-Man. Just as he seems to be getting the swing of his new life, bits and pieces of his old one start to crawl right back into this already tangled web. Feeling as though everything he's tried to build is about to come crashing down, Peter begins to consider the idea that he just might be spreading himself too thin.
