Summary
When Keith is arrested, he's offered two choices: the death penalty or join the infamous Riders Quadrant. He decides to fight for his life while surrounded by enemies and dragons alike. Keith, who has been mixed up in trying to solve the disappearance of his older brother, gets tangled in a web of lies involving the higher ups at the War College. Just what exactly are they trying to cover up? And how exactly does he get a dragon to bond with him?
Even worse, Lance McClain, the most cunning and powerful Wingleader the Riders Quadrant has ever seen, hates his guts. With fewer dragons than ever willing to bond, Keith finds himself constantly watching his back as more and more potential riders target him and his past. As the war on the borders continuously grows more deadly, Keith finds he needs to make friends out of his enemies if he wants to stay alive. But how can he survive when even the dragons view him not as prey, but as a threat?

Summary
Keith goes out in a violent way. Coming back, he is forced be a grim reaper, helping people transition into the afterlife while somehow maintaining his own miserable existence. But there are unseen forces that threaten him at every turn. And he can't come out unscathed forever.
Lance is destined for greatness. At least, that's what Allura tells him. Under her guidance, he wants to use alchemy and help souls into the next life just like she does. She always makes it seem like the highest honor a person can have. He's just not sure he's up to the task.
They share a class. Lance hates it.
But when the two are forced to meet outside of class in the worst of ways, they make a choice that sends them unraveling a web of lies and deceit, and no one is safe. Can they survive this together, or will they destroy each other along the way?

Or basically, Midoriya is a fire captain on Engine 1 with the rest of the Dekusquad and Todoroki is their new engineer. Sparks fly. Literally.(Bakusquad is also there because I love them)
