A modern AU loosely based on the Sanditon story set within the context of the music industry (fans of Nashville may appreciate this too). It will contain all our favourite Sanditon characters, but will primarily be focused on Sidlotte. I can also promise a HEA – it just may take a while to get there!

Sanditon modern AU.
Charlotte Heywood grew up in a small village and worked at a local hotel after graduating from university, and she hasn't seen very much of the world. For as long as she can remember, she's been a fan of Jane Austen, often escaping into her works and adaptations, as well as running a blog for fellow Jane Austen fans.
Charlotte is forced out of her comfort zone when the hotel she's worked at for one year closes down, and she's offered a job working at a family-run architecture company in London.
All of Charlotte's new work colleagues seem nice, with the exception of the company owner, Sidney Parker, who is distant and off-hand with Charlotte right from their first meeting. And yet, there's something about Sidney Parker that intrigues Charlotte, in the same way that he seems to be drawn to her...

Looking out for the people he loves, including his in-laws, is just part of who he is – so what would Declan Fraser do for his sister-in-law Charlotte with regards to a certain gentleman from Sanditon?
This is mostly an imagined continuation of Season 2, spoilers ahead. I'm really just manifesting what I’d like to see in Season 3, let's be honest.
I adore Captain Fraser's character. He did a lot of storytelling without much dialogue, and his words really hit when he does speak. As they say, it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for (in a good way). I wanted to spend more time with Fralison, flesh out a way to fix the Heybourne sitch, and explore more internal workings of some characters. Sidenote: Has anyone else noticed how Declan and Alexander are similar in many ways... men of honor and integrity, introverted, and they have excellent taste in women. I so want them to have some bromance time in the future! This is my first ever fan fic, so please excuse any typos/mistakes. -

He ignored her out-stretched hand. “I don’t have an assistant. Personal or not. Nor, do I need one.” His eyes flashed with annoyance.
The arrogant prick! Charlotte’s temper flared. “That is not what HR thinks, so I suggest you take it up with them, Mr. Parker,” she hissed, fighting like hell to control her temper.
