Summary

Summary

On an incomplete bridge in the Land of Waves, Naruto Uzumaki watches Sasuke Uchiha die. For a moments, souls connect, and an old creed finds its sacredness restored. Yet this moment of pain unleashes something, the power of the Saṃsāra in his eyes. When Sasuke wakes up, he finds that the idiot who was his teammate has unlocked an ancient dōjutsu. Naruto must learn its powers by trial and error, while Sasuke searches for ways to keep up with the sudden power of the one he used to dismiss as a nobody, and Sakura finds herself almost lost in the hussle. In the process, new bonds are formed, old ones strained, and shocking turns arise when an old snake arrives in Konohagakure no Sato. Summary
Reincarnation is a strange phenomenon. Ashura raised his future self until Naruto was kicked out of the orphanage at the tender age of three. Through a twist of event with the Uzumaki mask of the Shinigami, Yondaime Hokage Minato break free of the Shinigami's stomach and now became Naruto's personal ghostly guardian. Because Ashura sacrificed himself for Naruto, Naruto gained the ability to use Mokuton.
Reincarnation can be very confusing. When Itachi slaughtered the Uchiha and used the Tsukuyomi on Sasuke, instead of breaking his brother's innocence with hatred Indra came to the surface instead. Saner than he had ever been since being manipulated by Zetsu, he sought out the only other person who refused to let him go even through death and rebirth. This cycle he refused to be a pawn in Kaguya's game and cling hard on Naruto's hand, afraid to be dragged back into the darkness of hatred and power.
Hamura is afraid for Toneri's sanity so instead sent him off to where he can feel Hagoromo's chakra still pulse strong on Earth.
Brothers through an ancient bond gathered in one team...how will the world move from this moments forward?

Summary
Naruto and Sasuke are influenced more by their immediate previous lives than in canon. And a lot more people are reincarnations than given in canon. Just how influenced they are depends on the individual. Basically, this is I guess what might have happened if the whole reincarnation thing had more of an influence on the anime. Also, since I heard that it’s only Indra and Ashura’s chakra that reincarnate, I played with that and had souls reincarnate across the ’verse. (Hint: it’s Madara and Hashirama’s souls that are reincarnating as Sasuke and Naruto.)
Like, I think Ashura and Indra get mentioned a lot in the prologue, and then not really much ever again except maybe at the ending?Warning: updates sporadic—I haven’t written the entire thing yet.
...
Then again, maybe there are some things that I'll just leave as they are. I have the unfortunate habit of getting attached to certain scenes and ideas. I'll still fix some stuff, though.
