Summary
Set post 6x21. Bonnie sacrifices herself again in order to save Damon which leads Damon to act out, feeling the worst pain he has ever felt but what happens after may change the trajectory of their relationship. What was but mutual bantering lies unresolved feelings that neither want to admit. All they know is neither want to loose each other.
Meanwhile, Elena is human again, but that comes with it's complications as old feelings for Stefan resurface.

Set after 3 x05, where the gang will have to adjust to new changes that is happening at the Salvatore school. The school is running low on students and they will have to find new recruits if they want to save the school from being shut down. Lizzie tries to get hope to move on when they stumble upon Ethan, a boy hope is still confused about for what her sub-conciseness was trying to tell her. She has these feelings for him that she doesn't entirely understand, it's strong, and it feels like it's consuming her. She has never felt this way before. Hope is afraid of moving on as Landon death is still a sore subject. Alaric tries to get Sherriff Mac back. MG and Lizzie relationship is complicated. Kaleb is being distant from Jed after finding out about him and Alyssa for MG is his Bro. Meanwhile Josie gets closer to Flinch at mystic falls high and wonders if she is doing the right thing. Alaric receives something that could change everything.
