Summary
Jay's just started his first year of college, and things are going great. An encounter with a criminally persistent cat sends him and four others off course, though. Cole, who's just transferred to Ninjago City University, Zane, his guide, Nya, a senior in high school, and her older brother Kai all follow the cat to strange places, with even stranger artifacts.
Now the five of them have to work together to fight off the otherworldly beings that keep attacking the city, all while staying on top of their classwork. Luckily, they have the cat to guide them through fighting and new magic powers.It... is just a cat, right?

A dragon brings six myths together. A Naga, who's mother was killed by hunters, a vampire who isn't quite sure of what he is, an avian, who is a reluctant prisoner of a system, a kitsune, who was left abandoned along with his ‘human’ sister. And lastly a little dragonet, who the dragon already had. All six against the world, and united in a share of experiences with hatred towards them.
