Somehow, he was able to shackle a dragon—a being of a heaven—as the mansion’s guardian, both to keep Shi Qingxuan from escaping and to prevent anything from entering that might harm him, including a Reverend of Empty Words. Shi Qingxuan always thought of this dragon as the ultimate barrier to his freedom, but perhaps he was mistaken about that, especially when a new servant appeared in the mansion.
