Summary
Edward Teach, lead vocalist for a metal band, has been taking wedding singer gigs at a local event venue for the past few months, finding it a fulfilling change of pace in his life. A hopeless romantic, Ed is engaged to be married in less than a week and is completely in his element when he meets Stede Bonnet, a recently relocated professional attending a wedding where Ed is performing. Stede is swept away by Ed’s charismatic performance and the two hit it off right away. Stede promises that once he eventually sets a date for his own wedding with Mary, he wants Ed to be the wedding singer for theirs as well. Tragedy strikes when Ed’s fiancé leaves him at the altar, sending Ed spiraling into depression and swearing off wedding gigs entirely. In an attempt to help Ed get back on his feet (and hopefully spend more quality time with his new friend), Stede convinces Ed to help him plan his own upcoming wedding. Needless to say, as Stede’s wedding grows closer, so do Stede and Ed <3
This story is loosely based on The Wedding Singer (1998) and inspired by the parallels between Ed's Episode 10 songs and the infamous "Somebody Kill Me Please" scene from the movie.

Izzy still doesn't precisely know how to feel about work this morning, but it's somewhere between scorn and dread.
He's already encountered the new General Manager's influence; Edward's unilateral decision last week to change his signature block to read co-General Manager, for fuck's sake, which Izzy had had to push back on. Izzy's also had actual contact with him; brief, over Teams. His impression of the man wasn't precisely flattering.
Day one of the High Income Tax Policy and Enforcement Branch, and Izzy doesn't really have any idea what to expect.

Israel Hands has been the Executive Officer to Edward Teach, General Manager of High Income Tax Enforcement, for a long time. He knows this job, he knows Edward, and he knows how to keep his life separate from work - for the most part.
And then the branch is restructured to include Stede Bonnet, General Manager of Tax Policy, and his team of fucking clowns. Suddenly Izzy has two bosses, irritating coworkers, and a rapidly disintegrating line between the personal and the professional.
Not to mention Edward's behaving more erratically than usual.

Summary
Stede just needed a new crew member. He didn't mean to steal the one man who would willingly kill them all and send his precious ship to the bottom of the sea.
Ed is an omega who has learned what the world has to offer someone like him. Stede is an alpha who never fit into the role society wrote for him. They ignore how they are drawn to each other in favor for trying to figure out a space where they both can thrive, all while being pursued by the Queen Anne's Revenge.
There's not really much hope for a future with Blackbeard coming for them, but then again, Stede's never really listened to the odds much before. And after two months with this odd captain and his strange crew, Ed is learning that he might not want to kill any of them anymore. Not even Stede. Especially not Stede.

in this Reverse AU Aziraphale is the demon Baphomet (later Ezra Fell) and Crowley is the archangel Raphael
this fic will have some dark turns but I'll set some suitable Trigger Warnings

Baphomet and Raphael met each other on the wall of Eden and both experience some kind of trust towards each other almost immediatly after their first meeting. Their friendship blossoms with every encounter through the ages and love is soon to follow. Raphael has to deal with a lot of hate coming from her fellow Archangels and they are always happy to place unnecessary obstacles in her way. They couldn't get over the fact that Raphael's best friend fell in the rebellion, but she remained with them in heaven.
Meanwhile in Hell, Baphomet is more than happy to spend most of his time on Earth, instead with his fellow demons. He enjoys to make some trouble and bring some sin wherever he goes, but he definitely has a soft spot for his angel.- Language:
