“You actually listened to me back then?” she giggled, before coming to some sort of epiphany.
“Hold up! Are you telling me you’ve tried being a gentleman all this time?” she asked.
Since she had drawn the wrong conclusion, Vegeta would set the record straight for her.
Faster than she could follow his movements, he shot up from his seat to stand across from her. He trapped her by placing his hands on the kitchen counter behind her, her hips bumping against his inner-forearms. She drew in a sharp breath, pushing her chest out, and stared at him with her big, blue eyes.
“I assure you, I’ve been trying no such thing,” he growled.

Summary
A drunken mistake had awakened feelings that Goku and Vegeta hadn't known existed, underlying beneath their friendly rivalry. But ultimately, there is something much deeper there than they want to admit. Bulma and Chichi find solace in one another, discovering a deeper sense of intimacy than they'd ever known possible. But they still loved their husbands, and their husbands loved them. They must work through their emotions and see where these relationships lead them, even if that means they have to split apart.
This is an old fic I initially wrote in 2016, and slowly updated it. I've decided to rewrite it a bit! I'm slowly working on it. This fic has always been my baby, and it's a cathartic mess that I hope you guys can enjoy too.
For reference: this simply used to be called "Vegekaka" on Wattpad. (It's no longer posted over there, but if any of you happen to recognize this, that's why.)
Time is weird, I suppose this takes place after the Buu saga and before Dragon Ball Super (which wasn't really out when I first wrote this).

The First Drabble Night for the Prince and the Heiress fan community in 2021! It felt good to write again, but also I found it very hard. But I did it! I finished! And it was fun!
So, it was a Mature Drabble Night which means 6 (or rather 7, in this one; so you guys get a bonus chapter!!) prompts based around a mystery theme that has to be guessed throughout the night. Each prompt is usually suggested to be between 150-300 words long, but that kinda got out of hand and finally thrown out the window as the night went on so some chapters are longer than 300. And you are given 40 minutes to write each prompt. Tonight's theme is the chapter of this fic and the prompts are the names of each chapter...
Vegeta is still recovering from his injuries sustained when he blew up the Gravity Chamber while training to become a Super Saiyan and Bulma isn't about to let him out of his medical care.
