Following an age spent bound in service to the Beast God of Silk, Lace awakens. Above her, she finds the trembling shadow of her former rival and last hope, the Weaver’s body warped by claiming godhood. Below, she finds a Pharloom haunted by the consequences of her past actions, by survivors, and by a trail of riddles left by the red-cloaked warrior. Is Lace caught in another web?
Newly mortal and spiraling out of control, Lace is unable to resist the lure of an order, especially one given by the most interesting thing ever to happen to her.
