Summary
When Tony Stark has to deal with his original team again (with a few annoying plus ones), he never could have imagined the amount of irritation and pettiness he now has to put up with after allowing them to stay at the tower.
It is only after they are given a mission to a Hydra facility known for a particular scientist who makes people disappear that he learns that he cannot effectively work together with this band of misfits anymore. Bruce and Thor tolerable, just irritatingly out of the know after their travels, but Rogers, Romanoff, and Barton have no excuse for their inability to accept the fact that they were wrong, or that things are different.
When the group is forced into a new life, a new perspective, will they be able to accept the fact that they may never be the same again, even if it’s ‘for the better’ or something like that.
Will Tony be able to deal with TWO Steve Rogers, even if this new one is a lot more tolerable, without losing the rest of his patience or brain-cells.
And the bigger question is, can they get back?
