She could still see him burning in the flames of the Nine Hells, his skin boiling and his bones shifting, horns ripping out of his skull and weighing down on his neck as his good eye froze in the ice of Stygia. He would have screamed if Mizora had not stopped his voice. The briefest flash of agony had seared between their tadpoles before he had stamped it out, but even that was enough to know how much he had burned.

Zevran feels pinned by them. “But you can call me Liam. The others have managed.” The stony facade of his face cracks. Just for a moment. “Well, mostly. Half the time they call for ‘the Warden,’ both Alistair and I respond,” he adds in an undertone.
