    "It's midnight, what the phck do you want–" the man mumbled before looking at the androids face, and its blue spinning LED.

    "Connor..?" he said, a little more awake, "Wait...no, not Connor...Who are you?"

    RK900 found itself having to look down slightly to meet his eyes. It had never seen such dark circles on a human. "I am RK900, and I was sent to assist you in your work as a detective at the Detroit Police Department."

    The man [Identified as Detective Gavin Reed] pinched the bridge of his nose, right above a scar. RK900 made a note to ask Detective Reed about its origins later on, but that did not seem appropriate currently. Detective Reed's expressions were deemed as [frustration] and [exhaustion].

    "Who..." he seemed to struggle forming a sentence, "Who sent you..? If you say Cyberlife I'll slam the door in your face."

    After the revolution, Gavin is left without a partner and without much hope. That's when a fresh out of the factory RK900 becomes his new partner.
    Both feelings and plot thickens, but does the android have something more sinister going on?

    If someone had told Past-Steve that in a not too far away future he’d be driving through Hawkins’ trailer park to check on the local freak and drug dealer Eddie Munson as a favour for his lesbian best friend and to invite him to a movie night with a group of 14-year-olds, he would have probably laughed at them and maybe shoved them into a locker, for good measure. Past-Steve had been a bit of an idiot. Current-Steve was probably also a bit of an idiot, but not like that, so it was fine, and when he parked his car outside Eddie's trailer he didn't even feel weird about it, which had to count for something.
     

    Or: Steve finds a new friend who may or may not be a little more than that, actually.
