From sailing ships crashing in storms, to random portals opening; strange events on Quesadilla Island have brought a bunch of new islanders! There’s a crew of magic-wielding pirates anxious to get back on the open sea (not if the Federation have anything to say about it), a team of young superheroes pulled away from an apparently very important mission, and a chaotic group from a steampunk island called Wonder that does not appear on any map. It seems like they’ll all be stuck here for a while…
I guess they’ll just have to roll with it.

The walls are closing in on him.
This isn't true. Most people have that logical part of their brain that will tell them, no, the walls are not closing in on you. However, Kota is not 'most people.' And his brain is broken. Split open and rewired so many times that even though any logical person would be able to look around themself and know that the walls they were enclosed in, were not, and likely would not move- Kota can't.
So, to reiterate, the walls are closing in on him, and he has no way of getting out of them.

Summary
Speaking of Tanaka, as Souda strides over to fetch himself a shovel, the animal breeder is already bent over the bucket of gloves, holding up a pair with his nose wrinkled. For a minute, Souda’s not sure what the guy’s problem is, but these are all pretty rubbery, and like, uncomfortable. Tanaka’s kind of weird with textures. One time Kuzuryuu and Nidai got into an argument-- sort of, an argument, Souda doesn’t think Nidai was arguing, but Kuzuryuu sure was-- and ended up knocking over a pitcher of juice, and it had spilled on Tanaka, and Tanaka had been so upset that he had to go change right away.
Which… that’s fine. Souda doesn’t care. On either end, he doesn’t care about judging Tanaka and he doesn’t care about paying attention. He reaches down for a pair of gloves himself, and briefly meets Tanaka’s two-coloured eyes as he straightens up.
Tanaka averts his gaze first, and Souda looks down at the gloves in his hand, rubbing the back of his neck.

Souda and Tanaka do some volunteer work together while Sonia is absent.
