There was a rustling, the shifting of blankets as fabric dragged against itself, WD sitting up again and leaning down to face Ripley. WD hesitated, still finding herself nervous with Ripley, despite having already done this before, nervous to tip herself forward and to plant her lips onto Ripley's.

While working on a project to carve a passageway through the cave-in, Runt and WD discuss on how society treats them, and what they can really do about it.

Runt misses the dorks she's always surrounded by, who at the same time would make her feel incredibly smarter due to their dumbass nature, and feel safe knowing they would always have her back—despite their many mistakes along the way. They always managed to make her feel secure about her intelligence, her way of thinking that seemed to both put people in awe and at the same time, doubt her for. Going from Reclaim to Topside was a migration she never thought would see so much difference from.
WD reminisces her time with Ripley before they had gone to their seperate ways, with her shining star gone and with no way of knowing her location. She wishes for her star to come back, and to once and for all, fall for her as well.
