All of this just doesn’t make any sense.
By now, he should be laying in a cell while Uther is preparing for yet another execution.
And Arthur should be screaming at him for lying all this time and calling him every name under the sun, not in a teasy way but with serious deadly expression until his vocal cords give out.Or,
Merlin almost dies (again), and Arthur becomes a panicked dollophead who talks before he thinks.
