It was excruciating to watch, but at the moment, felt preferable to watching Gideon awkwardly scratch her head and ask “How’s stall set-up going?” as if it would ever be possible for the two of them to have a normal conversation.

It’s Harrow’s last year selling bone jewelry at the Dominicus Renaissance Faire before she finishes her PhD.
