It was meant to be a simple night. Break in. Torch the drugs. Maybe shoot a couple of people and go home. But no, Batman heard about his plans and decided that arson was too extreme.

"Honestly that might be a compliment!" Steph wrapped her arm around Tim's shoulders. "But am I allowed to switch my vote to Dickkk-"
"No." The table immediately chorused, making her slump.
I still say Steph. Cass signed.
"I'm sticking with Jason!" Dick announced.
"Are we voting for the people who should not be allowed to take care of another human being?" Jason asked.

'“I—” He started, sucking in a breath, elbows on his knees, head in his hands like it was time for confession. Then Tim walked past, into the kitchen, now within hearing distance, and Dick choked. “I’m not a nice reader,” he finished lamely, and he could see Tim scrunch his eyebrows from where he was standing, listening while pretending he wasn’t.
“The fuck does that even mean?” Jason hissed, “Seriously, whoever fucking heard of a nice reader? If you don’t want to, then just say that, Jesus.”
