Summary
Snape doesn’t like being frogmarched into teaching Potter Occlumency. He hates that damned brat with his smug face. Is it unfair? Maybe. But he doesn’t care. The boy is the constant reminder of his greatest failure.
So he is full of vitriol when casting the Legilimens. He doesn’t want to see the hundreds of ways this boy is celebrating his status, and with that, the death of his mother. Yet Snape would wish for nothing more than to let the boy see and feel the truth about himself.
Loaded with the power of guilt and self-hatred, twisted by the lies he tells himself, Snape, in an attempt to hurt the boy while doing his unwanted duty, goes too far.
The spell goes wrong and when Snape went to bed that night, he reaps the consequences of his again misguided actions.It’s about time to learn how it really feels to walk in Harry Potter's shoes.
But what then? Who will Snape be, after reliving a lifetime of 15 years as Harry Potter?
This is inspired by the Star Trek episode 'The Inner Light' where Picard lives a whole lifetime in one single moment after being hit with an energy beam. But besides the idea, there are no elements of that episode in this story.

Summary
He didn't want to be Harry Potter anymore.
There was nothing left for him in the wizarding world so he was starting over.
Harry Peverell, a 17-year-old muggle with too much time on his hands, moves to the only place where he might still have family.
Forks, Washington, seems like the perfect place to start over and carve out a new place for himself but he's not the only immortal teenager in town and ignoring the problem doesn't seem to be making it go away.
He didn't need to get involved with every supernatural mystery, and really, was it any of his business if his new cousin's eyes glowed amber sometimes? It certainly wasn't any of his business that a coven of vampires were pretending to be teenagers at his school.
Harry is determined to ignore what's happening and instead focus on his hatred of Charles Dickens, Chemistry homework and Mike Newton.
But the supernatural element of his new high school can't seem to leave him alone and Harry has always been really bad at staying out of things.

“Of course it’s me,” Harry muttered again, pacing the sitting room like a storm cloud in motion. “Not Kingsley. Not the whole damn Department. Me.”

Harry Potter, now the Ministry’s top Auror, is sent to investigate. His search leads him to Ashwick Vale, where the view was breathtaking, the villagers warm-hearted and the local headmaster more interesting than Harry expected.Marvolo Gaunt is brilliant, composed and oddly charming. He runs a magical school tucked between the hills and seems to know Harry better than he should.
The village is peaceful and beautiful.
And the longer Harry stays, the harder it is to remember why he came in the first place.Series
