Recently I've been seeing some "art dumps" pooping up on the Re:zero tag and well, seeing those awesome drawings by talented and hard-working artist made me think two things (mostly). One: "Damn, I totally have to improve a lot" and two: " I want to try it out as well!" And so here I am. I'll be posting here (or trying since I haven't figure out how to import images on ao3 yet) some drawings that I made. So forgive me for the long summary. This is something that I have thought about for a while ever since I started reading Isekai manga. What if Subaru's phone is not an ancient flip phone but rather a modern one with good storage and processing capacity, and what if his phone remains functional even when he is in another world?
Also Re:zero is just an anime in Subaru's world and yes he heard it all the time because people can't stop saying "This you?" To him every chance they got.

Summary
As always, after the events of Priestella, Subaru lost his name to Gluttony. He was tortured, primarily by Ferris, to gain information on the Witch Cult. And after he lost his perceived use as a prisoner, he was executed.
But then his name was returned. And all hell broke loose.
Satella would return him to the world, but only after the entire world has gone to shit. Without their holder, the Authority of Sloth and Greed were released and managed to find their way back to the Witch Cult through their 'new' holders. The Royal Camps have now been destroyed in almost every way that matters and were forced to disband officially due to the ensuing backlash after Subaru's execution. The Sword Saint has disappeared, War is everlasting, Morale is low and the Witch Cult are more active than ever. And most importantly, a shattered star shone once more.
