“More like a children’s story.” Regina complemented. “He’s just something parents tell their children to get them to behave, ‘don’t get close to the docks at night or Captain Hook will get you.’, that kind of thing.”

Ilya has started a new antidepressant, one that he finally thinks is working, but he is still trying to find the right dose for him and every couple of weeks the dose gets changed and he finds himself experiencing a brand new symptom. He has finally put his foot down, asking his doctor to give him more than a few weeks to trial this dosage to see if the symptoms go away as well as just managing his depression, but he's only a week into this dosage and he's just downright exhausted. Permanently, it feels like.
