    - Kyryll makes a deal with the Rächer of Solnari in hopes of finding a solution to the lingering remnants of the Wild Hunt in the Realm of the Fae.

    “Ayato, you are the most beautiful man I have ever met.” Itto winked at Ayato. The oni was taller than all the humans around him, his face level with Ayato on his horse. So Ayato had to look down when Itto suddenly got down on one knee. He pulled out a small box, opening it to reveal what could barely be called a ring. The metal was bent, its edges rough and its shape scarcely in a circle. “Will you marry me?”

    The battlefield fell silent, every soldier staring at the oni with wide eyes and mouths agape.

    “Um, well.” Itto cleared his throat, shifting in discomfort yet not backing down. “If we get married, then the war would be forced to stop.”

    The humans were dumbfounded. How could not only a yokai, but the Yokai King, suggest such a preposterous idea. Not only that, but he proposed so casually to a king. Not to mention his sorry excuse of a ring.

    Did this idiot really think a half-assed marriage proposal was enough to end a centuries old war?

    Apparently yes. And what was even crazier, it worked.

    One misunderstanding leads to another, and Itto ends up convinced his aniki is getting married. He runs away.
