“I knew it! You were trying to touch her! You shoulda just said that in the first place!”
One absentminded question was all it took for the two to end up together, their treasures in the hands of the other. In the hands of their enemy.

That woman's powers are real vicious, he remembers thinking to himself as he looked at Riyo’s crumpled form on the ground. Real vicious.

“Unfortunately,” Zanka sighs, stepping out of his safe zone and back to his station, “I have the design I think you’ll like best. It’ll hurt like hell though, so I suggest numbing cream.”
It’s fruitless and he knows it. Enjin laughs at him from where he’s just finished replacing all their old flowers. “Not a chance,” Jabber says chipperly, “You know damn well I’m hopin’ it’ll hurt, Zan-Zan.”
“And every time,” Zanka growls, pulling up the design to show Jabber, “I pray you’ve gained some sanity.”
Zanka is a simple tattoo artist wanting to do his job. Unfortunately for him, the masochistic florist across the street they order their flowers from is one of his regulars.
