Erik and Raoul decide to raise Gustave together and their relationship develops really slowly. Fluff. This fanfiction is really long. Lots of pining. I initially posted this piece as one long chunk of text (thank you everyone who persevered through that version) and now have finally gotten around to splitting it up into chapters.

He was laying sideways on the metal ground. Yet, the most noticeable thing were the three slashes across his eyes, each the same as those women who had been murdered. “Sherlock… oh my-”
“Watson?” Sherlock’s voice was noticeably weak now, his head raising towards the sound of his voice, but his eyes were squeezed close. Blood dripped out of them, falling down his cheek and onto the ground.

Sherlock's been away for an awful 2 years, getting rid of the rest of Moriarty's web. With one thread remaining, he's back in London and looking forward to reuniting with the others. However, John's reaction to seeing him in the flat isn't one he ever expected.
