Hell is other people. Purgatory is being a twenty something weatherman with the memories of a being a media overlord who had the entirety of Hell wrapped around his finger.
Sent back to his mortal life with a chance to "do it right this time", Vox has a problem. The Angels have installed a patch in his soul: the Pacifist Protocol. If he tries to kill a rival, poison a boss, or throw a punch, he is paralyzed by blinding agony.
He cannot claw his way to the top if he can't use his claws. He needs a loophole.

Summary
Vox is always watching, of course he is- he had nothing better to do after all.
He still… his feelings if you must towards Alastor never went away but he could deal with it… he was totally dealing with it. If you ignored… you know, everything.
Being willing to blow up himself and half the pentagram as long as Alastor died notwithstanding, he was fine. He could deal with the rage, the anger, the… ugh- heartbreak.
That was old news. But this? This was new. He never had to deal with jealousy. But Alastor was getting… too close with Lucifer. So he was going to do something about it.
//Alastor may have set most of this up to see what would happen. For fun. This is a totally normal to acquire a third. Right?

The Radio Demon managed to manipulate everyone (including his coworkers, enemies, himself and even his voice actor) into thinking he has his shit together.
Vox didn't even try. He turned off his cameras, withdrawed himself from the airwaves and finally left his long time archenemy alone, admitting defeat.
It's a good thing. Right?
Then why exactly was Alastor just now beginning to lose his mind?𓆱⌖𓄋⌖𓆱
Or: Alastor understands darkness like no one else and stops Vox's suicide attempt via channeling his truest, greatest power - ragebaiting.

Vox had only planned to spend one week vacationing in this city, but by sheer accident, he crossed paths with a man who made him extend his stay far longer than he had anticipated. Vox also began to notice that there was something *off* about the place he had been renting all this time.
Vox, “Don’t you think we’d make a perfect pair?”
Alastor, “In your dreams.”
Hearing the rejection didn’t wound Vox in the slightest. He merely grinned as he tidied up the clothes belonging to the both of them, scattered carelessly across the floor.
At the very least, he was the only one who knew the darkest secret of the man standing before him—and that alone was more than enough to bind their fates together.

They lost what no one from their age should ever lose. They experience what no sane human could ever be able to handle. They felt what no one should ever feel.
But they escaped. They escaped and now they are alive. Bruised, traumatized, exhausted, but whole and alive.
Only to be told they, in fact, didn’t escape.
Or, Benito, Jeffrey, Luis, Diego, and Emi need to act as a happy, functional middle-class normal family in a two-story house in Switzerland while they wait for the cure for their infection.
It should be easy, to start over in another country with the ones that saved your life.

He pointed at their miniature copies, though Vincent was still dizzy from the movement. “It’s deathly simple. I generously give you power, and you give me your soul. But don’t worry, you won’t suffer or boil in a cauldron, I just need to maintain my number of souls, especially after the recent purge. What do you say? Just a small formality in your favor.”
Vincent stared at Alastor’s outstretched hand with distrust. For a moment, his pixel eyes widened with genuine interest. His hand even twitched to reach out… but at the last moment, he lowered it onto the table.
“It’s just… for my own safety… can I add my terms?”

Trying to be a gentleman (Alastor likes those, right?) Vox keeps his hands to himself around his lover, even if it feels like he’s literally going to die from the aching want burning inside of him. Alastor just wants Vox to fuck him already, because this is starting to get rather frustrating.
