He didn’t bother looking to see who it was, aware of his lack of control in whatever awaited him. Part of him wanted it to be Molly asking him what he wanted for dinner, part of him wanted it to be his boss asking him to come in for another boat motor. Most of him knew it wouldn’t be either.
“Hello.” His voice was tight, dry. He cleared it and swallowed down his whiskey like fire.
“Will, hi. It’s Jack.”
Catastrophic indeed.

“You stay with me now, Will.” Hannibal urges, placing him back down so that he can continue compressions. He whispers please with each pump of his hands against Will’s chest and breathes life and love back into Will’s lungs. “You stay with me. You can do that, I know you can.”
Hannibal pushes and pushes and begs and goes lightheaded with the lack of air, but he cannot stop because Will still won’t wake up.
_________________Hannibal finds himself on the beach and nearly loses Will along the way.

Hannibal remembers the pallor of Will's sweaty, pale face then. A lacquering of sickly hues in green, lilac, and rose. Will looked like a watercolor painting; a perfect fit for the frame of Hannibal's surgical hands. He remembers also, with a chill of want scraping down his spine, the lopsided and indulgent curl of Will's trembling, chapped lips. The way he tilted his head and drawled with a disturbing amount of confidence, "Not like you to ruin the meat. If you want me inside you so bad, all you have to do is ask, sweetheart."

What if there had been a sex scene in every episode of the original HANNIBAL series? What if Will and Hannibal had been intimate all along, beginning with the pilot episode?
I set out to answer that question. Cuts Unscene is the result.
In this companion fic to your next re-watch, Will and Hannibal have some kind of intimate interaction in every episode that builds their romantic connection. These "deleted sex scenes" operate on the concept that they were actual scenes cut from the original episodes. I attempted to make them fit into the plot in ways that are were as canon-compliant as possible.
For an optimal experience, watch the episode, then pause it at the indicated timestamp and read the "deleted scene" before pressing play again :) Not necessary, but definitely a good time. It adds an extra subtext to certain scenes that make for a richer viewing experience.
