“Mmm, morning,” Kaveh mumbles, and Alhaitham grunts in reply, still too bleary-eyed to really form a coherent response. Kaveh presses further back into him, his butt coming to nestle snug against Alhaitham’s hips.
Even if Alhaitham is slow to wake up, the rest of his body isn’t. Alhaitham lets out another grunt, before using his hand to brush Kaveh’s hair away from his neck. He plants a kiss there, soft and light.
Kaveh and Alhaitham indulge in a lazy morning together.

“Could you help me put it on?”
Taking the necklace from Kaveh with a lingering brush of their fingers, he stepped close and suddenly, Kaveh was realizing why asking for Alhaitham's help was a very, very bad idea.
The air turned heavy as Alhaitham laid the necklace around his neck, making sure that the pendant rested on the warmed skin right above his heart.
Then, without breaking eye contact, he leaned down and pressed a reverent kiss on Kaveh's nape—so featherlight that Kaveh wondered if he was imagining things—just above the clasp of the necklace.

Kaveh found himself relishing every press of his lips and every scrape of his teeth, he wanted Alhaitham. Badly.
