You know that feeling when your secret friendship with your best friend’s brother turns into more than a friendship, but then he pledges his life to a cause that you fundamentally despise and your relationship falls apart?

I do NOT support JKR or anyone in the Harry Potter franchise who condones or has been silent about her actions and views.

This fic was inspired by Jegulus Week on TikTok and by @ih8jkr0wling on TikTok's Jegulus playlist, which if you are reading this, you should definitely download ASAP (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7luJBip3WtnEq1obA0d8y5?si=3KeMvolDQ3iLBkSILTcwTg)

    Summary

"No matter which borough, no matter which train, it was always the same. Person after person—eyes blank, eyes unseeing. He may as well have been a ghost. But that didn’t really surprise him at this point. After all, as far as the world knew, Wylan Van Eck was dead."

When Jan Van Eck's attempt to murder his own son fails, Wylan must learn to disappear in the streets of the city that never sleeps. But Jesper Fahey doesn't plan on letting Wylan fade away quite so easily.

But that was when the last puzzle piece fell into place.

"Oh." Will stumbled backwards slightly. "Oh my god, you want it. You want Vecna to take you."

When Mike didn't deny it, Will felt tears welling up in his eyes.
