Summary
Time to write my own Dom/Sub verse fic.
Geralt's a submissive. He keeps his secret and starves his weakness until he crumbles. Jaskier's there to help him, but is he in time? And can Geralt let himself be helped?

Geralt had felt this longing before. For safety, home, rest.
Instincts long buried, weakness long stomped out, but still fighting to be heard.
He felt it in the spring, as he pushed further and further away from his brothers. He felt it in the summer, when the heat burnt away his patience and singed his raw edges. And he felt it in the fall as he turned towards Kaer Morhen, exhausted and eager to return home.
This year it was stronger.
Already he was tired in a way that only happened at midsummer. Soon, sleep would escape him like it did in the autumn as he pushed himself to make it through the pass before the snows locked him out.
Maybe this would be it. Maybe soon he’d retire… in the way witchers do.
The thought filled him with a unusually thick sense of dread.
“You sound very restless for meditation. Is there something wrong?" Jaskier asked, his fingers softening on the strings.

Summary
An omega mage is suffering in the middle of battle, but it isn’t sickness or heat. He doesn’t know what this is at all. He just feels hollow and panicky. So he pulls himself from the conflict to hide away in a ruin, biding his time to calm down. But it only gets worse. He’s shaky and weak, he doesn’t understand why, and it isn’t stopping.
And then the alpha commander of the enemy militia finds him. It should spell doom for him, but the other man is suddenly more empathetic than he’s ever seen him. The alpha seems to understand what’s happening to the omega in a way he hasn’t been able to comprehend himself.
He’s starved for kindness, and he’s finally breaking from the lack of it.
Merciful to the sight, the enemy commander takes pity and works to soothe the aching omega.
